How do I get started as a Studio on EngineEars?

EngineEars is the first ever technology platform that provides the tools recording studios and their teams need to handle all aspects of their business with ease.

1 Sign Up

Getting started on EngineEars is easy. Simply sign up by picking a username, then enter your email and a secure password, and your account is created and you're officially on our waitlist for a studio onboarding call.

  1. Go to EngineEars.com & 'Sign Up
  2. Select 'Studio Manager' as your Primary account type (If you also work as an engineer at the studio, you have the option to add the 'engineer' account type to your profile.)
  3. Choose your username 
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Verify your phone number
  6. Congrats! You have successfully created an account on EngineEars 🎉
  7. You're on the waitlist, but while you wait, we invite you to join our Community! Engage in discussions and watch feature tutorials to get familiar with the platform ahead of your onboarding.

REMINDER: Studio features are currently in closed-beta testing. An onboarding call is required before you can complete your studio setup. We will contact you once it's we're ready to onboard your studio!

2 Create Studio Profile

In order to create a studio profile on EngineEars, either select the "Studio Manager" account type just after signing up, or add the "Studio Manager" account type to your profile by using the "Edit Profile" button on the right side.

Once your account type is 'Studio Manager', click the dropdown menu on the top right hand corner and you'll see the option to "Add a studio Profile".

After this, you'll be able to complete your Studio Profile and fill in details about your facility.

3 Onboarding 

Standby for an official onboarding invitation to finish account setup. During the onboarding call, our team will walk you through how the studio booking features work and guide you through linking your calendar, adding team members, and completing your setup. 

You must complete these key steps to finish your account setup:

  1. Setup Stripe
  2. Select a Membership
  3. Setup Studio Rates
  4. Link your Calendar
  5. Invite Teammates and Affiliated Engineers
  6. Add a Recording Session Time service

Now, that your account has finished setup, you're ready to manage your studio bookings on EngineEars!

Here are the next steps that we suggest you take to be successful: 

  • Generate a Booking Link for any existing clients you're working with outside of EngineEars or upcoming sessions you have already scheduled. This allows your clients to transparently see the order and pricing details of your service(s) provided, and gives them a direct way to conveniently pay for the session from the generated booking link. Consolidate your existing business and new business in one place by streamlining how you offer recording services, collect payment, and manage your studio bookings and team.   
  • Get Verified by submitting a ticket to the Support Team after your Studio is fully set up on the EngineEars platform. When you are verified, you will be able to increase your visibility/exposure on the platform to attract NEW clientele.
