How do I verify my phone number?

Verify the phone number for your EngineEars account

When you add and verify your mobile phone number to your EngineEars account, you will be able to receive real-time booking notifications and project progress through SMS text message.

Please note that message and data rates may apply.

 

1. Sign In or Sign Up  

Log in to your EngineEars account. If you don't have an account, create one by signing up and choosing a username, entering your email address, and setting a password. Then click "create account".

 

2. Enter Phone Number

Enter your mobile/cell phone number starting with your country code. Then click "Add phone number".

 

3. Check Phone

You will receive an SMS text message to the phone number you provided for your EngineEars account. 

 

4. Verify Phone

Refer to the verification code received from the SMS text message, and enter the code, then click "submit".

Note: if you did not receive the SMS text message, you can click "resend code" which will send a new SMS text message with a new verification code. Make sure you enter the newest code received.

 

5. Phone Verified

Once verified, you will receive a confirmation that your account has been created (or your phone has been successfully verified).

To double-check, click your profile picture on the top-right. Then click "Settings" in the dropdown menu. In your Account Settings, you will see a green checkmark displayed under your phone number that confirms the phone number associated with your EngineEars account has been verified.

Note: if you change the phone number for your EngineEars account, you will be asked to re-verify your updated phone number.

 

TIP: make sure you verify the email address for your EngineEars account.
