By following these steps, you can easily build and manage a team that helps keep your studio running smoothly while offering flexibility to your engineers and clients.
Managing your studio team is easy with the Dashboard. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to invite teammates or affiliated engineers to your studio:
Step 1: Open the Team Drawer
- On your studio's Dashboard, navigate to the Team drawer to view a complete list of all your current studio managers and affiliated engineers.
Step 2: Invite a Teammate
- Click the "Invite a teammate" button. You'll need to enter the name, email, and phone number for each person you want to add to your studio team.
- If the person already has a profile on the EngineEars platform, they will be invited to join the team directly.
- If they don’t have a profile yet, they will receive an invitation via email and text message, prompting them to signup for EngineEars to accept your invitation (your invited engineers will need to follow these steps to setup an account on Engineers).
Step 3: Assign Roles
- Affiliated Studio Managers: These individuals will have full permissions to accept or reschedule sessions at the studio.
- Affiliated Engineers: Engineers will only have access to sessions they are specifically assigned to.
Step 4: Setting Up Recording Engineers
- Once invited, each recording engineer can set up their own recording services on their profile. They can specify rates and availability, allowing the platform to schedule sessions only when the engineer is available.
Step 5: Additional Studio Settings
After your team is created, you can modify additional settings using the Edit modal on your studio profile:
-
"Allow studio bookings without an audio engineer": This option allows artists to book your studio's rooms without requiring an engineer for the session.
-
"Allow your affiliated engineers to generate studio booking links": By enabling this, your affiliated engineers can use the "Generate booking" feature to create and share session booking links with artists. You will just need to approve the details once the booking is submitted.
