How to Set Up a Session Time Recording Service

"Session Time" refers to adding a recording or tracking service to your studio profile which allows clients to book your time and expertise seamlessly. Here’s how to set up your recording service:

  1. Access Your Profile

    Once you have been enabled to offer services, navigate to your profile and click Add Service or Create Service, select Recording and link your Google Calendar.

  2. Set Your Hourly Rate

    Enter your personal hourly rate for tracking or recording sessions. Keep in mind, this rate only covers your time as the recording engineer and does not include the rate for booking the studio.

  3. Configure Your Booking Preferences
    Set your preferences for:

    • Lead time: How much advance notice you need before a session.
    • Buffer time: The time required between sessions to prepare.
    • Session duration: Specify the minimum and maximum lengths for each session.
  4. Bulk Discounts
    If you provide discounts for longer blocks of time, you can create special pricing for sessions that last 4, 6, 8, 12, or even 24 hours. This helps attract clients booking longer projects.

  5. Availability

    Choose the days of operation for each room at your facility and specify the hours you are generally available for bookings. This ensures that clients can only book during your available times. Lastly, enter a service description explaining what sets your service apart from anyone else.

  6. Session Management
    Although your availability is set, you still have the option to reject or reschedule any sessions as needed, offering flexibility in managing your schedule.
