How Do I Get Paid on EngineEars?

EngineEars uses Stripe to process payouts for engineers, ensuring fast and secure payments. Once you've set up your Stripe account, you can receive payments directly to your bank account. Here’s how the payout process works:

Step 1: Complete a Project

1. After an artist books your services and you complete the project (e.g., recording, mixing, or mastering), submit the final file deliverables through the EngineEars platform.
2. The artist will review and approve the project to release the payment.

Step 2: Payment Confirmation

1. Once the artist approves the project, the payment will be processed through EngineEars and sent to your Stripe account.
2. You will receive a notification on your EngineEars dashboard confirming that the payment has been made.

Step 3: Cash Out Funds to Your Bank Account

1. Go to the Balance Drawer in your EngineEars dashboard. Your available balance will be displayed here.
2. If there are funds available to withdraw, click the Cash Out button.
3. You can also click the arrow icon in the Balance Drawer to open a detailed view of your transactions, where you can download or review a complete list of your earnings, client payments, refunds, EngineEars payouts, and cash outs.
4. Once you choose to cash out, the funds will be transferred to your linked bank account.

Step 4: Track Your Earnings

1. In your dashboard, you can access your full Transaction History to see a detailed breakdown of your earnings and payouts.
2. You can download this information for your records or review specific transactions directly from the detailed view of the Balance Drawer.

Managing Your Payouts and Stripe Account

1. To manage your linked Stripe account, go to the Settings tab located in the drop-down menu at the top right-hand corner of your dashboard.
2. From there, click on the Stripe Portal link to access and update any details such as your bank account, payout schedule, or personal information.
3. Any changes made in the Stripe Portal will automatically be reflected in your EngineEars profile.

Payout Processing Time

• Payouts with Stripe Express are typically instant, meaning funds are available immediately after cash out.
• However, processing times may vary depending on your bank or country, and it could take 1-2 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
