Accept a session booking request to begin working with a client or reject a session booking if you cannot provide the service to your customer.
When a client books your studio for a session, you have the option to Accept the session booking or Reject the session booking.
1. Notifications
When you receive a new booking you will receive a notification on your profile on the EngineEars platform, an email, as well as a text message to your mobile phone.
2. Session Page
Click the notification in your notifications menu to get to the session request. Alternatively, you can click on Pending Requests from your dashboard. Also, you can click the bookings icon to navigate to My Sessions page. This page will display all of your sessions.
In the calendar view, identify the new session booking request and click on it.
Alternatively, in the list view, identify the new session booking request and click on it.
3. Accept or Reject
Click 'View Request' next to the new session booking to view the session details.
Review the Booking details of the session request, especially the date, time, duration, room, and recording engineer (if any).
If everything looks good, click the 'Accept' button. This will approve the booking request and the session will be scheduled.
If you wish to reject the booking for any reason, click the 'Reject' button. This will cancel the session booking request and the client will be refunded.
4. Session Scheduled
Once you accept the booking your session, it will be scheduled onto your studio's linked google calendar and the engineer's calendar (if a recording engineer is booked for the session). The client will receive a confirmation that the session booking has been accepted. You can begin to prepare for the upcoming session.
