Steps to request an extension to an upcoming booked recording session
Some studios may offer extensions for an additional fee if there is availability, otherwise you will need to book a new time slot with the recording studio to continue your session at another time.
1 Login to your EngineEars account and click on Projects in the top navigation bar
2 Click 'Sessions' to view your booked sessions
3 Locate your booked session and click the 'View Details' button. This will open up the side panel with the specific details of your booked recording session. Scroll to the bottom and click on the 'Modify Session' button. You will see an option to 'Extend Session', click this button.
4 Select the amount of time you want to extend the recording session for. Note that this is based on the studio's availability and may incur additional fees. If there are added charges, you will see the price details. Click 'Extend Session' to book your added time.
5 Checkout by filling out payment details then click the 'Checkout' button.
6 After submitting payment, your request to extend the recording session will be sent to the Studio to accept or reject. If accepted, you will receive confirmation that your requested recording session extension has been approved.
To make changes to your session extension request, you can click the 'View Request Details' button to cancel the request. If the extension request has been approved, then you can click the 'Modify Session' button to make updates to the overall recording session booking.
