Approve assets and download final project files to complete a project
After approving a mix, the engineer will upload final deliverables to the project for you to review. When you receive a notification that final files have been uploaded, you will need to review the final project files by downloading them and approving these assets before the project is considered complete.
1. Projects Page
Locate your project and click the 'View Project' button. You will notice that Track Stage is listed as "Asset Approval".
2. Download Project Files
In the project panel that opens, scroll down to the bottom to click the 'Download Project Files' button.
3. Approve Assets
This will show a list of files for the project. You can click the icon on a specific row to download a specific file, or click the 'Download All Files' button to download all of the project's files. After you've downloaded the desired files, click the 'Approve Assets' button.
4. Confirm
You will get a message asking you to confirm you have received the final file deliverables for the project. Click the 'Confirm' button to approve.
5. Complete
Once assets are approved, the project is marked 'Approved' under Track Stage and the 'View Project' button is highlighted in green to indicate its completion. Congratulations on completing your project! Don't forget to leave a review for your collaborator.
Note: At any time in the future, you can return back to this completed project to download project files.
6. Feature Your Completed Projects
- When visitors access your profile, they’ll be able to view and listen to your featured tracks and other public releases displayed on your profile page.
- To promote your music, click the ‘Share Release’ button to copy the URL link to your profile page. You can then post this link on social media, allowing visitors to view and listen to your featured and cataloged tracks directly on your profile.
