Why isn’t my music on SoundCloud through EngineEars?
By default, EngineEars does not distribute releases to SoundCloud as part of our standard distribution pipeline. However, you can still upload your music to SoundCloud yourself and have it monetized through EngineEars.
How SoundCloud works with EngineEars
Unlike DSPs like Spotify or Apple Music, SoundCloud is handled differently:
- EngineEars does not deliver your release to SoundCloud automatically
- You must upload your track directly to your own SoundCloud account
- Once uploaded, we can monetize your track on SoundCloud on your behalf
How to monetize your track on SoundCloud
If you’ve already uploaded your song to SoundCloud, follow these steps:
- Upload your track to your personal SoundCloud account
- Copy the public SoundCloud track link and UPC#
- Send the link to our support team at support@engineears.com
- Our team will review and enable monetization
Important Notes
- Only submit tracks that you fully own the rights to
- Make sure the audio you upload matches your official release version
- Monetization is not automatic and must be requested manually
