How to view ad campaign performance?

Review the performance of your ad campaigns

After you have created an ad campaign to go live, you can review its data to evaluate the performance of your campaign. Here are the steps to view campaign performance.

1. Click 'View Details' from your Dashboard

Go to your Dashboard and locate the Campaigns section. Then click the "View Details" button.

For each campaign row, you will be able to see the following metrics:

  • Total Spent
    • This represents how much of the campaign's total budget has been spent or used so far since your ad campaign started.
  • Impressions
    • Impressions measure how often your ads were on screen for your target audience. An impression is counted as the number of times an instance of an ad is on screen for the first time. (Example: If an ad is on screen and someone scrolls down, and then scrolls back up to the same ad, that counts as 1 impression. If an ad is on screen for someone 2 different times in a day, that counts as 2 impressions.)
  • Total Clicks
    • This is the total number of clicks your ad received, directly on "Learn More" or call-to-action button for your ad. The objective of link click campaigns is maximize this number (so as to drive visits to your EngineEars profile page), while keeping the cost-per-click as low as possible.
  • Status
    • This represents the current status of your campaign.
      • Pending: campaign is submitted and undergoing Meta's ad review process
      • Rejected: campaign failed the review process and did not meet Meta's ad policies/guidelines.
      • Approved: campaign successfully passed the review process
      • Scheduled: campaign is scheduled to go live and run at a future start date
      • Active: campaign is currently live and running
      • Ended: campaign is no longer live. It has reached the End Date or has finished using up the campaign budget
  • Start Date
    • This is the date when your campaign is scheduled to start running once it is approved.
  • End Date
    • This is the date when your campaign will finish running. If you don't enter an end date, the campaign will run until the entire campaign budget is exhausted.

Note: At the moment, campaign performance is limited to these metrics mentioned above. More detailed campaign analytics will be added in the future.
