How to Select or Deselect Distribution Stores for Your Release?
Want to distribute your music to only specific platforms? You can now choose exactly which stores and streaming services your release is sent to — directly from your Account Settings, before you submit your release.
⏱ Do this before submitting your release. These settings apply at the time of distribution. If your music is already live on a platform and you want it removed, a takedown request is required instead.
- Log in to the profile you're releasing the project onGo to engineears.com and sign in to the artist or label account you'll be distributing from. Make sure you're on the correct profile before making any changes.
- Open your Account SettingsClick your profile icon or name in the top-right corner of the page. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
Click your profile icon → select Settings from the dropdown.
- Navigate to the "Distribution Retailers" tabInside Account Settings, click the Distribution Retailers tab. You'll see the full list of stores your music can be sent to.

- Select or deselect your preferred storesAll distribution stores are selected by default. You can:
- Uncheck individual stores you don't want to distribute to
- Use Deselect All to clear everything, then manually pick only what you want
- Use Select All to re-enable all stores at once
- Click "Save Retailers" to confirmYour preferences will be saved and applied when you submit your next release.
⚠️ Already distributed to a platform?
Changing your store selection here will not remove music that's already been distributed. To remove your release from a specific platform, you'll need to submit a takedown request.

Quick Summary

- All stores are selected by default — uncheck any you don't want
