How to Add Track Credits & Roles?

Track credits are added after you've uploaded a track. Open the track's details by editing it, then in the Song Details drawer that opens, click the Credits tab and scroll down to the Add Song Credits section.

• By default, the main artist is automatically tagged as both Lyricist and Composer. You can change these roles if they aren't accurate for this track.
• If the person you're crediting already has a profile in the system, they'll automatically match to their existing profile under "Matched Existing" rather than creating a duplicate entry.
• Assign one or more Roles to each credited person. A single contributor can hold multiple roles on the same track.
• Once a contributor has been added under a specific role, they're autosaved, making it faster and more seamless to add that same contributor to another song later.
• Use Add another credit to credit additional songwriters, composers, engineers, or producers who contributed to the track.

Credits document who contributed to writing and producing the song, and are separate from the artist credits (Main Artist, Featured Artist, etc.) set in the Artists tab.

Don't see the role you need? Go ahead and submit the release, then reach out to our support team with the following details so we can add it: UPC#, ISRC#, Song Name, Contributor's Name (exactly how it should appear on DSPs), and the role you'd like to credit them for.
