Invite collaborators to a recording session or studio session
Once a recording session or a studio session has been booked and accepted, you can invite additional collaborators to the session. Here's how.
1. Go to Bookings
2. Click the Sessions tab
3. Locate the specific booked Session
4. Click View Details button to open the Session Details
5. Under the Collaborators heading, click the Add Collaborator button
6. Specify the name, email, and role of the collaborator you want to invite (you can invite multiple collaborators, one at a time), e.g. writer, producer, singer, instrumentalist, assistant.
7. Click Email Link button to send the invitation
The collaborator(s) you invited to the session will receive an email from EngineEars informing them that you have invited them to the booked recording/studio session.
8. The invited collaborator will need to signup for a free EngineEars account (if they don't have one yet), or sign-in to their existing EngineEars account (if they are signed out).
After signing up or logging in, they will be able to accept the session collaboration invite.
After accepting the invite, the collaborator will be able to see the details of the booked session you invited them to (e.g. date/time of session, location, address, arrival info, other collaborators etc).
Notes:
- Anyone associated with the session booking can invite collaborators, such as:
- Artist or Label A&R who booked the session
- Recording Engineer who's recording the booked session
- Studio Manager who's hosting the booked session at their studio
- Invited collaborators will also receive a calendar invite sent to their email to remind them of where/when the scheduled session will take place
