How do I fix a release that’s mapped to the wrong artist profile?
If your release is showing up under the wrong artist page on DSPs, this is called a mapping issue. This can happen when artist names are similar or when a new profile is being created for the first time. Here’s how to fix it.
Step 1: Submit a request to EngineEars
We recommend submitting a support ticket so we can request the correction on your behalf.
Include the following in your ticket:
- Project Name
- UPC
- Link to the incorrect artist profile
- Link to the correct artist profile
Step 2: Submit remapping requests directly to DSPs
Artists can also submit remapping requests directly to each platform to help speed things up.
Spotify
For mapping issues (music on the wrong artist page), use:

Note: The Spotify for Artists app is only for profile edits. Mapping fixes must be submitted through the link above.
Apple Music
- Log into Apple Music for Artists
👉 https://artists.apple.com/support/ - Select Artist Catalog Issues
- Submit:
- Are you approved for Apple Music for Artists (Yes/No)
- Artist name
- Links to affected releases
- Link to the correct artist page
Tip: To copy links, click the three dots on an album or artist page, select Share, then Copy Link.
Deezer
If you have a Deezer for Creators account:
- Submit under "Someone else’s content is on my artist page"
Amazon Music
- Use Amazon Music for Artists (app or web)
- Go to User Settings → Report Issue
If you don’t have access:
- Create an account, then submit the request
⏱ Processing time can take up to 4 weeks
TIDAL
- Manage your profile: https://artists.tidal.com
- Submit remapping requests here:

What happens next?
- Most mapping updates take 24–72 hours to reflect
- Some platforms (like Amazon Music) may take longer
- EngineEars will submit the request on your behalf, but we do not track updates from DSPs
👉 Check back after 72 hours to see if your release has been corrected
