Does EngineEars offer “release protection” if I cancel my subscription or fail to renew?

Yes — your music stays live. If your EngineEars membership expires or you choose not to renew, your releases will remain on all DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.). We do not automatically take your music down.

What happens if my subscription ends?

Your music will continue to be available to fans, but there are a few changes:

  • Your releases stay live on all platforms
  • You will lose access to your streaming data and dashboard analytics
  • EngineEars will begin collecting a 15% share of your royalties

When would my music be taken down?

We will only remove your music if you request a takedown.

We do not remove releases due to:

  • Missed payments
  • Expired subscriptions
  • Account inactivity

Why does this exist?

We built this to give artists flexibility. Your music should not disappear just because your subscription changes. You stay in control of your catalog at all times.
