Check Status of my Streaming Release to streaming platforms and digital stores
To check the status of your Streaming release for streaming distribution, follow these steps:
1. In the navigation menu or the profile dropdown menu, click to go to the My Music page.
2. Once on the My Music page, make sure you're in the Releases tab. Then locate your Streaming release, and click on the "View Release" button for the particular release you are wanting to check status on.
3. Once on the Release Details page for your selected Streaming release, locate the section with the Streaming Release Details heading, which contains the context and information about your release timing and status. These are the possible statuses for your Streaming Release:
- Draft: release has been created but not yet submitted for content review
- Pending Review: release has been submitted and is undergoing the content review process before it can be distributed to streaming platforms and/or digital stores
- Rejected: release has finished the content review process and is rejected. It cannot be distributed to streaming platforms and/or digital stores until the issues raised from content review have been addressed. The release will need to be re-submitted for content review
- Approved: release has finished the content review process and is approved. It will begin the process of being distributed to streaming platforms and/or digital stores
- Delivered: release was successfully sent to streaming platforms and/or digital stores and is slated to go live on the release date (or as soon as possible if release date was not specified)
- Completed: release date has been reached and the release is now live on one or more streaming platforms and/or digital stores
Tip: It can take up to a week for your release submission to be reviewed, approved, and sent to digital streaming platforms and/or digital stores before it goes live on the release date. This is why we recommend you schedule your release date to be at least 7-14 days in advance in case of any unforeseen delays or issues.
4. You can also click on the Release Status tab to view the individual release status for major streaming platforms and/or digital stores. If the status of the release is "Completed", and the Pre-order Date and/or Release Date has been reached, then we will start to display individual statuses for each of the major streaming platforms and digital stores as we receive them (note: not all platforms publish statuses). If and when the individual release statuses are available, they will be displayed in the Release Status tab for each platform/store that provides them.

1. In the navigation menu or the profile dropdown menu, click to go to the My Music page.
2. Once on the My Music page, make sure you're in the Releases tab. Then locate your release, and click on the "Edit Release" button for the particular release you are wanting to check status on.
3. In the example below, this release will start to be publicly visible on the artist's EngineEars Profile Page starting on 9/26/2025. The "N/A" means there is no end date, so this release will be publicly visible on the Profile Page indefinitely after 9/26/2025. If there is an end date displayed, the release will become hidden and no longer visible on that end date.
4. Alternatively, you can click on the profile dropdown menu in the top-right, and click on "My Profile" to view your EngineEars Profile Page.
5. Once on your EngineEars Profile Page, enable Edit Mode (ON). In the Releases tab, you can see the releases to be displayed on your EngineEars profile with their status and dates for when they will be publicly shown.
6. To preview if a release is publicly shown on your EngineEars Profile Page, enable Public View (ON). In the Releases tab, you can see which releases are publicly visible on your EngineEars profile and currently being shown to fans/visitors to your profile.
Song Verified Status of the Tracks within my Release
When you add a track to your release by uploading a song file or selecting an existing track file from a completed project, the song file will undergo an upload and copyright verification process during the creation of your release.
These are the possible song verified statuses of the uploaded tracks in your release:
- Upload Failed: your song encountered an error and could not complete the upload process or copyright verification process. Try again later by clicking the re-try button to re-initiate the upload and copyright verification process. Or you can try uploading a different song file or removing the problematic song entirely from the release.
- Verified (Passed): your song completed the upload and copyright verification process and successfully passed the copyright verification check.
- Authorized Match: your song completed the upload and copyright verification process and an existing released song was found that matches the exact same audio and artist name of your uploaded song. This indicates that you may be trying to release a song that matches the audio of an existing copyrighted song that was previously released by the same artist. This is flagged to alert you of potential issues with releasing a duplicate song under the same artist name and could result in issues with stream counts and royalty collections, or possible takedowns by platforms and stores for duplicated content.
- Copyright Risk: your song completed the upload and copyright verification process and an existing released song was found that matches the exact same audio of your uploaded song. This indicates that you may be trying to release a song that matches the audio of an existing copyrighted song that was previously released by another artist. This is flagged to alert you of potential liability issues with copyright infringement and/or licensing violations. Try removing the problematic song entirely from the release, or uploading a different song file to resolve the issue for your release. If you choose to continue with including the flagged song that bears copyright risk in your release, you are accepting full responsibility of potential liabilities.
